Brad J. Dawson DMD, MSD
Dr. Brad received his dental degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, number two in his class and was selected to join the OKU dental honor society.
After dental school Dr. Brad spent another four years furthering his education becoming a dual dental specialist in both pediatrics and orthodontics.
He completed his pediatric training at Indiana University/Riley Children’s Hospital, where he was chosen for the Ralph E. McDonald Scholar Award for his accomplishments during residency. He received the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for scoring in the top 3 % in the nation on the pediatric board exam. He also served as an assistant clinical professor at Riley Children’s Hospital while completing his two-year orthodontic residency.
He completed his Orthodontic training at Indiana University, where he also served on the orthodontic component of the craniofacial team for two years prior to moving back home to Utah.
Dr. Brad’s distinctive training allows him the ability to provide your child with comprehensive dental and orthodontic care at the appropriate time to achieve the ultimate goal of a healthy, beautiful and confident smile for your child.
Dr. Brad is married to his beautiful wife Jacquilyn, and together they have three boys. He is an avid sports fan, enjoys hunting, fishing, and just spending time in the outdoors with his family.
Kevin P. Brown, DMD, MSD
Dr. Kevin Brown grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. During his pediatric rotations in dental school, Dr. Kevin discovered his love for working with kids, and decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
He then completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. While in pediatric dental residency, Dr. Kevin also completed a Minor Degree in Child Psychology from Indiana University. This specialized training enables Dr. Kevin to use an individualized approach to help each child have a positive dental experience. At the completion of residency, Dr. Kevin received the G.R. Baker Fellowship Award from his faculty and co-residents, for his uplifting and fun personality.
Dr. Kevin and his wife, Jenny, have three spirited boys, and are excited to explore all the outdoor fun Utah has to offer. As a family they love to camp, hike, ride bikes, go boating, and do most anything outdoors. Dr. Kevin loves to golf and is an avid Utah Ute fan. He looks forward to the friendly sports rivalry he’ll have with Dr. Dawson, who supports “the other” school.
Dr. Kevin’s playful personality is a great asset with patients. He is passionate about his profession and enjoys allaying fears and helping kids have a positive and rewarding dental experience. He is a strong believer in preventative care, and is dedicated to educating patients, parents, and the community about proper oral hygiene. In addition, Dr. Kevin enjoys continuing professional education, and utilizing the best and most current guidelines and treatments available.
Dr. Kevin is thrilled to be a part of the Dawson Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic family and to serve the greater Salt Lake community.

Wendy – Office Manager
I graduated in 1996 from the University of Utah in Elementary Education, then went on to teach elementary school for 7 years. I have been working with Dr. Dawson since he started his practice in 2011.
My husband Rodger and I have two kids, Parker and Katee. I love my two pomeranians Ute and Moose more then anything. My favorite thing to do is vacation with my family, and watch my daughter play on the high school softball team.
Chantele – Assistant
I’ve been with Dr. Brad since 2012. My goal working here is to make sure every child that comes into our office feels comfortable. I love what I do, and everyone I work with.
When I’m not at work I spend my time playing dress-up with my daughter and trucks with my son. I just love being outside and running around at the park.
Ammie – Assistant
I’ve been with Dr. Brad since 2012 and in pedo/ortho since 2008. I love my job working with kids and helping them to feel happy and keep their teeth healthy! I am married to my awesome husband Chad and we have four kids; twin boys and two daughters.
When I have free time I travel with my teenage boys to shoot archery with their grandpa, watch my teenage daughter cheer, and play with my baby daughter. I also love taking my family boating and camping!
Jamie – Front Desk
I have been working for Dr. Dawson since 2014, and worked in the dental field for 7 years. My favorite part about working here is getting to know all the families and kids!
My husband Scott and I have six awesome kids together. In my spare time I love watching my girls play competition soccer, go on date nights, and drink diet coke.
Teri – Front Desk
I grew up in St. George, but have now lived in Herriman since 2006 and fell in love with the community. I have worked many many years in the dental field, and now am thrilled to be part of Dr. Dawson’s team!
My husband Scott and I have been married almost 30 years and have three amazing children. I love going on dates with my husband, reading, cooking, and vacationing to any beach!
Marissa – Nurse Anesthetist
I received my Bachelors of Science of Nursing degree from Weber State University. I served a mission in Mendoza, Argentina- I was the mission nurse. I then attended Grad School in Illinois at Bradley University/Decatur Memorial Hospital for anesthesia school. I received a Masters of the Science of Nurse Anesthesia in 2004. I graduated Suma Cum Laude from both Weber State and Bradley University. I’ve practiced anesthesia in Illinois, Idaho, and now Utah. I’ve been working with Dr. Dawson since 2011.
I like hiking, running, reading, spending time with my kids, and going to Maroon 5 concerts!!
Ashley – Assistant
My hunky husband Steven and I have two crazy yorkies that we obsess over like children. My favorite things to do are vacation to new places, snowboard, eat mexican food, and watch FRIENDS re-runs.
Bre – Assistant
I have been working for Dr. Brad on and off since 2010. I love everything about this job. I love working with the kids and making each dental appointment enjoyable. I love working in orthodontics and watching all the changes braces can make.
I have two children, a boy and a girl. In my spare time I love spending time with my kids and family, playing soccer, camping, and hanging out with my husband.
Vanessa – Assistant
I’ve been working in dental since 2015 and am super excited to start working with Dr. Dawson! I love working in pediatric dental with all the kids and helping them to feel comfortable at the dentist.
I have a little boy named Julien, I love spending my time playing with him! I also like playing soccer with my family whenever I get a chance.
Lexie – Assistant
I recently graduated from dental assisting school and started working with Dr. Brad in 2016. I absolutely LOVE working with kids and making them feel happy to be here!
My husband and I have two sweet little girls, Sailor and Saige. When I’m not working I love playing with them, going on date nights with my husband, and trying new things.
The benefits of a beautiful healthy smile are truly priceless, and a straight smile is one of the best investments you can make for your child. The actual cost of dental and orthodontic treatment depends upon the complexity of the problems and treatment goals. We promise to clearly communicate with you the fees prior to any treatment. For pediatric dental treatment, payment is expected at the time treatment is rendered. For orthodontic treatment, flexible financing with no-interest monthly payments is available.
We participate as a provider for most major insurances plans. On your first appointment, please remember to bring a copy of your insurance card to assist us with filing. As a courtesy, we will identify the insurance benefits, file the claims and help maximize the benefits. If you have insurance that covers orthodontic treatment, your personal out of pocket costs can be significantly reduced. Many insurance policies feature a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is different from regular dental insurance. When you come in for your first visit, we will review your insurance to determine the best course of action.
We ask as a courtesy that if you should have a change in your schedule and are unable to keep an appointment that you cancel with 24 hours notice. We understand that unforeseen events can happen, but we would appreciate your cooperation.
